I’m doing a bourbon-barrel imperial porter this time around. It’s an extract brew with specialty grains. Here’s my recipe:

I’m shooting for around 8.5% abv, with an OG of 1.086 and FG of 1.023.
It’s the biggest brew I’ve done so far, and the farthest outside my comfort zone. I’m really excited to see how this one turns out. It’ll require a great deal more patience, being a higher alcohol beer, but I think it’ll be worth the wait.
